The NICATS Task Group meetings are now devoted to designing a NICATS manual called 'A Practical Approach to Credit Based Learning'. The manual will be a curriculum development tool to help all those responsible for curriculum development to understand what is involved in applying credit framework principles and guidelines to learning, teaching and assessment. The manual will be of interest to those engaged in the design, management, delivery, and assessment of learning. We have representatives from the higher education, further education and the community and voluntary education sectors on our design team as we want as wide an audience as possible to be able to use the manual.
